” How a 14th century French Company sparked modern corporate governance and survived  for 600 years?”

the art of business

We are excited to invite you to join us for our first “Art of Business” series! A luncheon series celebrating the intersection of culture and commerce through the ages.
Our first luncheon will learn about eighty pragmatic French shareholders in the 14th century that laid the foundations of modern corporate governance while ensuring their companies’ survival for some 600 years.  Their accomplishments resonate today as corporations develop and implement their own approaches to corporate governance and as the reasons behind recent corporate failures are examined.
We will enjoy the time and cultural travel in a French ‘art de vivre’ atmosphere provided by the Chef cuisine.
